Unbridled personal growth.

Central Florida Life Consultant and Therapist, Tracy Weiss, has a long-held love for horses and believes (from personal experience) that being around them can engage the mind, body, and spirit in a healthy and healing practice. Certified in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Tracy has partnered over the years with some delightful humans and equine teams in Central Florida to help people find hope and healing through horses.

What is Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)?

Also called Equine Therapy, Horse Therapy, and Equine-Assisted Therapy, EAP is the use of horsemanship experiences to help individuals, couples, families and groups take strides toward growth and healing. Through intentional interaction and consistent relationship with a non-judgmental, powerful, intuitive animal — a horse — clients are able to tackle emotional, relational and behavioral challenges in a unique and thoroughly impactful way.

Sessions are an hour long and take place outside at a local barn. With the help of a horse professional, Tracy ushers clients into pre-planned activities with the horses that target struggles and, ultimately, lead to the creation of solutions.

Why Horses?

Horses are remarkably sensitive (and responsive) to people's body language and behavior. As a result, they can act as mirrors — enabling clients to notice their inner selves and to actively participate in the development of self-awareness, self-confidence, communication, life, and relationship skills.
